Shipping Policy

At Hank's Carpet, our shipping department exercises great care in preparing your flooring for shipping. Each roll is individually wrapped and sealed in strong weather tight polyurethane film to assure added protection during transportation.

When it comes to shipping your flooring, common carrier is the most economical way. Shipping companies have minimum rates for delivery. If you order one room of flooring, expect the freight to be $200 or more depending on location. If you order a whole house of flooring, expect the freight to be not much above the minimum freight charge. It's best to order large amounts of flooring (several rooms) to maximize the savings. We will always contact you with freight charges prior to shipping. However; we have tried to give you an approximate rate for delivery charges. 

We ship by square yard rates vs. poundage rates, thus ensuring the best volume rates which is then passed onto you for a savings of up to 50%!

Once your order arrives in your area, the carrier will give you a 24 to 48 hour advanced call to schedule your delivery. All freight companies do not touch the freight. They are in an 18 wheeler and they will let you unload at the end of your driveway. The truck driver will not help you. Generally, you will need someone to help receive your order and remove it from the delivery truck. Remember, you are responsible for unloading home deliveries. All liftgates are per request only. They usually cost $150.00-$225.00. All the liftgate will do is sit the product on the ground at the end of the driveway. Many individuals have their installer pick up their order from the local terminal. This also saves a home delivery charge.

We have many freight carriers from which to choose. Be aware that most freight carriers' rates change daily. However, we assure you that the most economical freight carrier will be utilized for your delivery. Please contact us for a rate quote.

Returns Policy

All manufacturers of flooring have a warranty against defects. So if you encounter a problem, we will stand behind the manufacturer's guarantee.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors of our products that appear on this site. Because the actual colors you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot assure that your monitor's display of any color will be completely accurate. To provide the absolute highest quality of service, samples on any product seen on this website can be mailed to you. 

Individual returns based on general customer dissatisfaction is taken on a case by case situation. If a sample was sent and an order was placed based on the sample, a restocking fee may be applied on the product if it is returned. Please contact us if you have further questions or concerns.
